Billing and credits

Understand what each action costs before you scale the workflow.

How do credits relate to parameter tuning and regeneration?

Each saved draft or regeneration uses 2 credits, so tighter briefs reduce wasted credit.

Generating a draft uses 2 credits. Regenerating a draft also uses 2 credits. A successful automation run that saves a draft uses 2 credits too.

Cover image generation uses 1 credit, and AI rewrite uses 1 credit. If you generate content together with a cover image, budget 3 credits total.

Topic research does not use credits, so it is the safest place to tighten the brief before committing to another generation run.

Credit-saving habits

  • Use topic research and parameter cleanup before clicking regenerate.
  • Leave room for image generation or rewrite passes during final polishing.
  • Review Billing before a busy campaign or review cycle so the team does not hit the limit mid-workflow.

Best for: Teams balancing output quality with credit efficiency.

How do monthly credits and top-up credits work together?

Plan credits cover steady monthly volume, while top-ups add extra headroom for temporary spikes.

Your subscription plan gives the store a monthly credit allowance. The Free plan starts with 10 monthly credits, and paid plans increase that allowance based on the plan selected in Billing.

Top-up packs are one-time credits added on top of the monthly allowance. They are useful when launches, seasonal pushes, or heavy revision cycles need more room without immediately changing the full plan.

The Activity Ledger in Billing shows both usage debits and credit grants, so the team can see whether the current workload fits the plan or needs a short-term boost.

When to use each one

  • Use monthly plan credits for the store's normal publishing rhythm.
  • Buy a top-up when the workload spikes for a campaign, launch, or approval-heavy review cycle.
  • Upgrade the plan when higher monthly volume or automation becomes the new baseline.

Best for: Teams planning steady output with occasional bursts of extra work.
